Ivan CamachoCo-ChairYear and Major: 4th year, Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Chicano Studies
Hometown: Norwalk, CA Hi everyone, My name is Ivan Camacho and I am a fourth year Industrial Engineering major with a minor in Chicano/a Studies. I love being in this organization because it gave me a home away from home, another familia, which was huge for me as a commuter and as a first generation college student. Hermanos has provided me with the resources and knowledge to succeed in our academic setting. In addition to helping academically, Hermanos Unidos helped me improve in the areas of community involvement and social networking. The reason that I ran, is because I would like to pay it forward. What I mean by that is, I would like to give back to an organization that has given me so much as well as be a positive male role model for someone who may need it, like it did. This year our goal is to build upon our on-campus relationships and provide our members the resources and support system that they may need to succeed during remote schooling. Augustus RodriguezCo-ChairYear and Major: 3rd year, Industrial Engineering
Hometown: Covina, CA My name is Augustus Alexander Rodriguez and I am a third year Industrial Engineering student. I been apart of Hermanos Unidos for about 3 years now and served on the executive board previously as external chair. I ran for the position of Co-chair to help our Hermanos try to have the best student experience with being online. I really care about this familia and see all of us grow! What I plan to do with the position, is help our organization grow with networking with our campus community, it’s resources, and helping our Hermanos achieve to become El Nuevo Hombre through our events this semester. By working with my partner, the Executive Board, and General Body, I can make sure that our Hermanos can have the best student experience and resources to help them succeed in higher education.
